Uncle Ben's Whole Grain Brown Rice Review

A few weeks ago I was invited to take part in the Uncle Ben's Whole Grain Brown Rice Blog Tour.  I have never tried brown rice and well, I know my husband and I need more fiber in our diet, so I jumped at the chance to try it!  

Uncle Ben's has developed 3 types of Whole Grain Brown Rice for all the brown rice lovers!

1. Natural Whole Grain Brown ( cooks in 40 minutes) 
2. Fast & Natural Instant Brown Rice (ready in 10 minutes)
3. Boil-In-Bag Whole Grain Brown Rice (ready in 10 minutes). 

This makes it easy to decide which type of brown rice fits the type of meal you are preparing.. I was very excited to be able to do this review thanks to Mom Central and Uncle Ben’s. I like white rice but I have always wanted to try brown rice.

I have been sick since I received the package, so I didn't get the chance to try it like I wanted with the recipes, so I used the boil in bag last night!  We had Jenni-O Turkey with Gravy, the boil in bag of Uncle Ben's Brown Rice and Carrots.  My husband and I both enjoyed the rice!  The rice was very fluffy and perfect!  My husband has always been picky with eating foods that are "good" for him, but he really enjoyed his meal.  He'd rather mashed potatoes with Turkey, but understood the reason for the rice. lol
