Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Review

I had a chance to get a preview copy of the movie Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue . You know my daughter loves Tinkerbell, but I've never seen one Tinkerbell movie until now! lol You can find Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue on Blu-Ray starting September 21st.




About the movie:
Tinker Bell finds herself going to the mainland for Fairy Camp. She is quite excited and when she arrives there is nothing for her to Tinker with. So when a human motorized car passed by she had to go check out how it worked.

Vidia, as many of you may no her is not very easy to get along with. For some reason she decided to follow Tinker Bell to try and keep her out of trouble.

Tinker Bell loves to find lost things, but trouble likes to find Tinker Bell. As Tinker Bell was discovering new things, she stumbled upon a house built for Fairies. The house was built by a little girl named Lizzy. . Vidia told her to leave but she didn't and went on in. So to retaliate, Vidia slammed the door shut trapping Tinker Bell in the house, and as Tinker Bell was fixing a watch, Lizzy returned

Lizzy takes Tinker Bell home and the true adventure begins. Tinker Bell becomes friends with this little girl and together they fix a family!

I was very impressed with the graphics and the movie. There was so many things that Tinker Bell did with Lizzy that any child would love to do. Flying, learning how to fly, and what about when Lizzy traced Tinker Bell. It was just a fascinating tale of exploring the mind of a child. It was heartwarming and colorful taking me places I haven’t been in a long time. If you want to go back to childhood watch Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue.

Uncle Ben's Whole Grain Brown Rice Review

A few weeks ago I was invited to take part in the Uncle Ben's Whole Grain Brown Rice Blog Tour.  I have never tried brown rice and well, I know my husband and I need more fiber in our diet, so I jumped at the chance to try it!  

Uncle Ben's has developed 3 types of Whole Grain Brown Rice for all the brown rice lovers!

1. Natural Whole Grain Brown ( cooks in 40 minutes) 
2. Fast & Natural Instant Brown Rice (ready in 10 minutes)
3. Boil-In-Bag Whole Grain Brown Rice (ready in 10 minutes). 

This makes it easy to decide which type of brown rice fits the type of meal you are preparing.. I was very excited to be able to do this review thanks to Mom Central and Uncle Ben’s. I like white rice but I have always wanted to try brown rice.

I have been sick since I received the package, so I didn't get the chance to try it like I wanted with the recipes, so I used the boil in bag last night!  We had Jenni-O Turkey with Gravy, the boil in bag of Uncle Ben's Brown Rice and Carrots.  My husband and I both enjoyed the rice!  The rice was very fluffy and perfect!  My husband has always been picky with eating foods that are "good" for him, but he really enjoyed his meal.  He'd rather mashed potatoes with Turkey, but understood the reason for the rice. lol

Freshcetta Pizza Review & Giveaway

I was given the opportunity to try one of the Freschetta FlatBread Pizza. I've wanted to try it, but like so many other frugalistas, I won't pay $7 for any pizza if I have not tried it and even if I like it, I'll only purchase it if I have a coupon for it. :)

My husband and I went to Walmart and purchased 2 pizzas, one was PizzAmoré Pepperoni Dou which is a combination of both spicy and mild pepperoni and the other was a Naturally Rising Supreme. We ate this pizza one night and about 2 nights later we had a Digiorno pizza supreme and I can tell you Freschetta WON! I must say that this pizza was in the words of Rachael Ray, YUMM-O!!

We ate the supreme which was loaded with veggies and meat! I was filled up with 3 pieces, and usually with frozen pizza I can eat 4 or 5 slices. My husband ate 4 slices then went back about 2 hours later for my 1 left over piece. lol We were pleasently surprised that this crust tasted so good! This was delicious! The sauce did not taste “cheap” or “frozen.” It was more like we were at Pizza Hut!

Will we buy it again? My husband said this was the best pizza and he doesn't care if it's $7, he wants more, so YES! Especially when it is on sale since it is one of the higher priced pizza’s in the aisle and especially if I have coupons for them.

DVD Review: James Cameron’s "AVATAR"

When I received an email from click-comm.com about reviewing AVATAR, I was very excited! I couldn't wait for the DVD to be released! lol My husband and I both wanted to see the movie, but never got to the theatre to see it in 3-d. We both enjoyed the movie and will probably watch it again! This review is on the DVD, not the Blu-Ray version.

This is a fantastic DVD to have! The movie is full of action and romance with spectacular details and effects.

Movie Detail:
Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) is a paraplegic war veteran who volunteers to go to Pandora (which is inhabited by the Na’vi, a humanoid race with their own language and culture) in place of his brother (who was killed the day before he was to ship out). Those from Earth can't breathe the air on Pandora, so they must have an "AVATAR" to go out and about. The humans find themselves at odds with each other and the local culture, because the Na'vi do not want to give up their land to the marines because there is a precious ORE that is like their god and can make lots of money for the Marines.

Jakes mission is to try to get the Na'vi people to leave the area they are in, and in exchange Colonel Miles Quaritch (Steven Lang) will arrange spinal surgery to get Jake his legs back. While Jake begins to bond with the native tribe, he falls in love with the beautiful alien Neytiri (Zoe Saldana). The restless Colonel moves forward with his ruthless extermination tactics, forcing the soldier to take a stand – and fight back in an epic battle for the fate of Pandora. Febreze No Spill Wood Diffuser Review

Hi, I'm sure you know exactly what I mean when I say my house smells sometimes. It smells like the neighbors cooking when she cooks. It smells stale (need to open windows). When ModernMom offered me the opportunity to try the new Febreze Home Collection No Spill Wood Diffuser in my home, I was happy to try it.

I went to Wal-Mart, found them in the air freshener isle and asked my husband to help choose which scent to use. The Diffuser is available in Willow Blossom, Pomegranate Mango, Green Tea Citrus and Honeysuckle Orchid scents.

My husband and I chose Willow Blossom ~ the scent is light and refreshing and covers all of those smells that tend to take over a home. The smell certainly isn't over powering at all. I hardly smell it sometimes.

So what exactly is the Febreze No Spill Wood Diffuser you ask?
Well, it's a little twist from the traditional reed diffusers. Instead of having a bunch of sticks sticking out, the fragrance is stored in a sleek bottle (looks like a bottle of cologne) and the scent diffuses through the lid.

The container fits any decor and the no spill packaging is ideal for homes with kids and pets.

If you decide to try it, be careful when opening the bottle. I couldn't get the stopper out, my husband used his small knife to pry it up, after a minute or two, he got it off and all was good.

Pillsbury Orange Sweet Rolls Review & Giveaway

This is my first review on my new blog and I hope to have LOTS more soon.

If you like sweet rolls, you are sure to love these! I am NOT a big cinnamon person, I can't stand to bite into something and have a mouth full of cinnamon. YUCK! But with the Pillsbury Orange Sweet Rolls, I didn't have that problem. One bite and I tasted ORANGE!

These are quick to make and delicious to eat! Simply heat your oven, place rolls on pan, bake for about 13 minutes, remove from oven and ice before they cool, and EAT! YUMMY!! I love the fact that you can eat them fresh out the oven.
